| Assembling 750 SXI engine. Do I Use Sealant?
just putting new pistons and rings and needle bearings in my sxi motor. i have a new gasket kit also. do i have to put any type of sealant on the cyl base gasket or on the thin metal head gasket? this was a SBT REMAN motor and the their was orange rtv on the head gasket when i took it apart, prob from previous owner. i heard of people using copper spray sealer but can u use this on the soft cyl base gasket or just on the metal head gasket? thanks |
