Tubbies on a FX-1??

So my fx-1 is stock. I eventually want to upgrade, but I think that's everyone. I was considering putting tubbies on this winter. Anyone know how it affects the ride of the fx-1. I've heard great things about them on superjets, but haven't heard anything of the fx-1. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Cool, so those were specifically for FX-1. Can you also use Tubbies II. Any difference between the two?

Yes his are fx-1 specific. I bought a pair for my fx-1 will be installing them soon. I also have a set of tubbie lls for sale, i took them off another ski after i had purchased the fx tubbies or i would have been happy using the tubbie lls

Here is a little comparison for you guys. The black are tubbie lls and the white toms.

Big difference there. I checked that thread. Since it's so old, does he still have some? Good luck with the install, let us know how you like them?

He made mine for me before he was selling them for fx-1s. I just pmd and told him what i was looking for and he said he would hook me up and he did. Great guy to deal with and nice product. You probably have a better chance of getting him on the X

are tubbies worthwhile on flat water? I spend most of my time jumping but I also need to go long distances some times

Hey Turbo, it's my understanding that they help greatly with stability both just going straight and carving. So I would think they'd be good for long distances but I could be wrong. Someone who knows what they're talking about please feel free to correct me
