Do they work pretty good? Mine is missing. Anybody have one cheap they'd like to get ride of?

I thought it might be a cool place to hide stuff.... After turfing over the purple of course....

Re: FX1 "Cooler Compartment"

LOL

The little compartment in front of the tray... Are they really water tight?

I thought it might be a useful place to carry "stuff" while out riding

Does anyone have an extra? Or want to get rid of their's instead and turf the spot?

Re: FX1 "Cooler Compartment"

Dude, they are far from watertight!!! I keep my registration in there, but its wrapped in a few ziplocks. I also keep a screwdriver and a lighter in there as well.

Hell no, they dont even have a seal. But they are a good spot for regi spare lanyard, ziplocks with cash, DL, smokes, etc. They also act as a good toe hold as they dont go all the way down to the tray. I think I may have one for you, I will look tomorrow.

LOL

I figured they wouldn't seal up well. How about flying open? Has that ever happened?

I still think it would be a cool thing to have for sunglasses. I wish the one was still with my ski

They dont open very often, also they are not hinged so they dont get it the way when they do. The door has a little safety strap on it so you dont loose it
