1994 Splash Magazine FX-1

Sneak peek at the Yamaha FX-1 from Splash Magazine January 1994. Look at the middle paragraph in PDF # 5. Whats up with that? Are my two missing something here?

I see it written as an adlustment setting, but I'll be damned if I can determine WTH they are referring to.

I will make a call tomorrow and have my buddy call Yamaha direct and see wth they are referring too. I no longer work at a dealer, so I will have him call to try and get some insight on this.

The adjustable steering nozzle? I think they're talking about the adjustment on the turn plate via different cable mounting holes.

Re: 1994 Splash Magazine FX-1

I think the steering angle is what they're talking about. Not trim angle.

If you look in the Fx-1 service manual they have a page where they show the 3 different maximum angles that the steering nozzle throw can be limited to. They are talking about the 3 holes on the turnplate
