For not much more money you could get
MSD Ignition Enhancer CDI. Features: Hotter spark than stock ignition, Adjustable rev-limiter, Overheat sensor, Less plug fouling, Improved throttle response, Easier starting. Direct Replacement for stock CDI unit just unplug the original CDI and plug in the MSD unit. 4253 | Yeah, I am a WSM dealer, so I can get one of their CDI's for less than $150. I would rather pay the extra money for an MSD because it will hold up longer.
