Waveblaster questions...

1) What year did Yami come out with the Blaster and what year did they stop?

2) If one were looking to buy one, would there be a certain year that would be better than the rest?

Thanks.

the earlyone
1994 has the strongest hull
i think the last ones were 1998
the blue and white ones
but not sure if you got them in usa
and they were lighter and tend to fall apart in the surf

WB1's were made from 1993-1996. the ones made after that were not made available in the USA.

Mike,
Of the 93's-96's, is there any better year than the next to get for any paticular reasons?
Thanks.

ski

The 1996's are red, so most people think they look the best. The 95's are red too, but thay have a purple hood (looks tacky).

The 96 has the dual carb engine, but it's not much (if any) faster.

If I were looking I'd buy based on condition, because they are all good machines.

yeah the purple ones
the first of them are heavier
and they have an extra layer of glass on them
they also handle better because of the weight
by the time we got to the 98s in aussie
you can just about see througt them
haha

it really doesnt matter i guess. i like ones that are single carbed. easier (for me anyway) to tune it and maintain. if you could find one in good shape i would jump all over it.

93-96 was made in USA
93-97 europe

96 & up are dual carb 62-T motors
93-95 wers single carb 61-x motors

that is the facts... werd

As far as breaking the hull... the only spot I had trouble w/ was the rear transome area on any year.
