| Problem accelerating from dead stop. 1996 Waveblaster 760. Everything ran perfect until yesterday at the lake. I was driving the jetski kind of hard (like any other day) and i shook the jetski left and right and did a 180 on water. as it came to a stop i full throttled it and got out of the hole just fine. right after that, it sort of sputtered i think and the problem started to happen.
When the jetski is at a complete stop, and i try to full throttle, it will hesitate/bog for a second or two making this humming noise like its hitting the rev-limiter and it will get moving again. No problem after it starts to move again, but the problem only happens when the ski is at a complete stop. It either will bog/hesitate or it will stall down everynow and then when i try and full throttle from a complete stop.
what can be the problem? I just changed the spark plug, looked pretty weak. i'm going to the lake now and test it out again, but i was wondering what else can be the problem here. |
