Need to find a Winter Project

I hope there are no strange hazings to join this Inferno Chapter. And I'll pretend that the homosexual inuendo in the Reaper Sentence game has nothing to do with the naming of this group (i.e. "Inferno"). Although it was all a good laugh.

Anyway, like a fool I bought a couch for my first ski, and after riding my buddy's 750sx, its time to move on to a man's machine. I'm looking for something I can project over the winter. In the end I would like it to have the sack of a 750, or better, and I plan on going entirely through it. If there is any difference in cost, I would prefer spending the lesser money and getting the most bang for my buck (I think that's pretty obvious). So with that being said. Any suggestions? 750sx? 701 sj? AND, the main reason I am starting this thread, if any sees some listings or knows of some that are good candidtates can we get a link up here.

Feedback is welcome, except for the "Inferno" thing, I'm not sure I want to know the answer to that.

Re: Need to find a Winter Project

LOL.....now that was funny!!

I dont know where to start......LOL - still laughing over here!!

The "inuendos" are the entire AJC family bustin' ballz the only way we know best....insult each other - taking mini-shots and jabs every chance we get. The "inferno" name comes from large fires at the campground, however yes we've heard that before too!! LOL - Its all good man.

As far as projects go - I dont currently know of any, but they pop up all the time. 750sx, sxi..etc are nice ski's - lots of parts around for them. SJ 701's totally different boat, as I'm sure you know. Harder to land one of those and may run ya a bit more - however you cant go wrong either way. You'll can read for 7 days and 7 nights the differences of the boats out in the differnet forms....but they are both great boats.

We'll keep an eye out. - Later man

ps - where do you ride....what part of CT?

Re: Need to find a Winter Project

Try and land a older SN superjet. If its got a 650, dump it and build a 701 out of the spare parts (crank, electroincs, and carb). SN's were made from 91' to 95' same bottom hull design as the newser RN's from 96' to 07'

Re: Need to find a Winter Project

That is why most of the AJC sleeps with one eye propped open, or they lock themselves in their campers......not to mention any names
