Switching 04 gtx oil fill to a 04 RXP

I have an 04 gtx with a blown motor and I bought a rebuilt motor. I belive the motor came from a 04 RXP. The oil fill housing is different. Does anyone know if I can use the one from RXP? The GTX was catastoffic when it blow I rather not use much from it. I dont know what the differnces are

different year engines cant be straight swapped, was your gtx supercharged? the front filler housing which also has the oil pump in it can be swapped but if both have the tops solenoid on the top and the blowby sensor then just use the rxp one. you will have to use your old s/c and manifold electrics etc.
If the filler housing doesnt have a tops solenoid then its a later model engine and not compatible with your ski.
