RXP-X Model Year Changes

I read somewhere that the 09 RXP-X had drivetrain improvements over the 08 (basically they fixed some weak points). Does anyone know if this is true? There are some good deals on 08 leftovers, but I would rather get an 09 if this is true. And does anytone know if any additional improvements were made for 2010? Thanks!!

Re: RXP-X Model Year Changes

they are the same except for a slight change in the intake grate and as far as I know they will be the same for 2010.
accross the range the driveshaft and carbon seal was updated and the pump bearing setup changed a little but these werent really for the better more likely a change in the company making them for brp. I would have no issue buying an 08 over an 09 but the 2010 black and red would make me wait and spend more I love the look of it.

Re: RXP-X Model Year Changes

I just bought a 08 rxp-x last year. Too be totally honest if you want a ski to only do 70mph and heavy as hell. I say buy it. I would rather have a ski that I can jump and do alot more with. If I could sell it I would in a heartbeat but I would loose my but on it

Re: RXP-X Model Year Changes

All the same since 08. 2010 just has new paint.
Great ski for what it is. I love mine I can put the wife on it while I'm on the stand ups! Also great the take down river to the bars and stay dry the whole time.

Re: RXP-X Model Year Changes

Out of the box stock big ski nothing is better than the rxp-x.
But if you want fun a stand up ski is the way to go.
