Return hose from j-pipe 4tec scic

Does kinking the hose form the top of the j-pipe and running ski for 10 minutes, then un-kinking hose increase rpm when a ski is revving low ? Ie. Is there a condition in the scic skiis where the exhaust pressure is "unbalanced" ?

Thanks for any help!

Re: Return hose from j-pipe 4tec scic

pinching that hose will increase the amount of water coming out of the 3 holes at the end of the j pipe and that means more water in the waterbox which can reduce rpm a little.
generally the supercharged exhaust doesnt have or need backpressure/balance etc its just to get the gas out and thats it.

Thanks, so the theory of pinching the hose closed is probably a quick way of trying to unblock one or all of the three holes, if they should be blocked.

could work I havnt seen any blocked up here but dont get much sand or saltwater riders. The holes are reasonably big so wont block easilly and if were blocked the rubber exhaust over pipe etc will melt
