Pulling a tube?

How big of a tube can i pull with my 07 GTX Limited?

We have a 4 person tube and was wondering if it would be too much weight to pull with my ski and if it is what should be the limit?

Re: Pulling a tube?

I have the 07' Wake edition and I originally purchase an Extra Large 3 person tube, you could probably put 4 people on it but it only had handles for 3. We ended up returning it cause it really was too much to pull. We had 2 adults and a teenager most of the time and when you whip them from side to side the jetski would be pulled and made it hard to manuever.

We've had a 2 person tube now for 2 years and have a lot of fun with it. With two large adults on the tube the jetski can still be pulled a little to the side but it's nothing like the larger tube did.

If all you want to do is pull riders on a 4 person, you should be ok, but if you want to go side to side or loops to knock them off, your not going to enjoy the ride on the jetski.

Re: Pulling a tube?

thanks for the replies... I'm more concerned about it being to much strain on the motor. I don't plan on actually plan to pull 4 people on it just 2. It is a friends and didn't want to spend the money to buy another one, but if I need to I will...

Re: Pulling a tube? - Can't help much here in MA

the liberial idiots in the People's Republic of MA outlawed towing skiers or tubes in the state. We are from the governement and we are here to help you.

I fear the whole country may be heading in the same direction our local idiots are taking us, not specific to towing with PWC
