oil level

I did an oil change for the 10 hour service. I filled the oil to just below the top bend. I have noticed a loss of 100- 160 rpms. Could the oil level be just a smidge to high?

Re: oil level

Could be. I've read of people reporting RPM loss when there is too much oil.

Re: oil level

Yeah, it's too high. You should be 1/2 way between the bends ideally. If it's to the top bend you will loose rpms like you saw.
