Question 2006 Sportster Oil Filter

Does any one know where to start looking for the oil filter in that big hole in the back under that white cover thingy. I'm assuming that it is somewhere around that big metal thing with the yellow plastic top. Looking at the part, it appears to be hidden inside something and not a spin on filter. I have searched the forums and threads and everyone talks about changing their oil but no info. I have a nice new oil change pump waiting to be used.
