'05 RXP, What happened ????

Try this one...

ski has 95 hrs, took to lake, checked all fluids, launched and rode......as day progressed I noticed engine temp was dropping.( 107 to 87 ).....oil warning came on in turn later that day....stopped and checked oil and was way over full mark ( started at half below full ) stopped machine.

Oil not emulsified ( no water )
coolant level ok
engine idles fine
performance was dropping thru out day.
sc not rebuilt yet

What happened ??? Whats wrong ??

Re: '05 RXP, What happened ????

if the engines run way to cold you can end up with excess fuel in the oil see if smells of fuel so maybe thermostat fault check for oil in the intake pipe going into the s/c

Re: '05 RXP, What happened ????

Ok and thanx, Another guy said the oil sensor probably failed ( common ) and the oil expands when heated...... and thats true ....but how come the excess is still there when cooled off ????

I'm thinking I'm going to leave her parked until I do the sc rebuild.........I'll check the intake on disassembly.

Tks again..
