| water in spark plug space Hey everyone,
I'm in the process of winterizing my ski for the first time. I sprayed the fogging oil in and from a previous thread someone takes the spark plugs out to check if there wet. I thought to myself its a good idea because I'm a little nervious.
Anyways my main concern was when I took the ignition coil out there was water in the void. The water was about 1/2cm to 1cm deep (just enough to cover the nut of the spark plug). The coil had rust residue all around plastic and some inside the void. This is the kicker though, there was water in the first two closest to the front, but not in the back two. When I was taking them out everything seemed tight and sealed, so I didn't understand how this could happen.
I used a small hose and sucked it out, but I was wondering how this would have happend? Could there be any damage? What would you suggest I use to get the rust out of the void? The residue just rubs off the ignition coil so not to worried about them, or should I be?
Is there anything else I should check?
