VX Warning light

Greetings from Ireland

I have a 06 Yamaha VX 110 I changed the oil and oil filter not
so long ago, went out for 4 hrs, no problems what so ever.
Was out yesterday and after 20 mins or so the warning light
started flashing and sounding I reset it about four times, same
thing kept happening. The ski didnt have any apparent problems
at all, was riding as normal. No overheating, full tank of fuel etc
I checked the oil level, was rite at the full mark. I drained some
of the oil out now the level is half way between empty and full,
any ideas as why the warning light kept coming on and
sounding ????????

unfortunately, you'll have to take it and have the codes read from the dealer... ive seen a few of them have a temp sensor go bad, and a few cam position sensors.

to read the code , start the engine and hold the reset button at the dash on for more than 30 seconds, you should see numbers .sometimes you have to do it twice or you have to wait until the warning alarm goes off.
anything different than 01 is a default code.

Ran the ski on the hose, hit the reset button for 30 secs and the code 01 came up, did it once again just to be sure, same thing again, 01 im assuming that shes ok ?? went to start her again, wont start now, flat as u like, any ideas, this has never happened b4 ??????

Im not a mechanic, but is it possible that the oil level was too high and flooded the air filter?
