Riva Racing Kits

Hey guys. I am just wondering if anyone on here has used any of the Riva racing mods on their ski's? I have an '09 fx sho and was looking at the different kits available (very limited right now). I did see a claim that their intake, with new (bigger) supercharger as well as some other parts can boost my bike to 310 HP. now THAT would be some smoke on the water. Let me know if any of you have experience with the Riva equipment. how does it hold up etc. thanks!

Re: Riva Racing Kits

07 FX HO did the stacks, K& N filter, Riva free flow along with R and D ride plate, intake grate and a solas dynafly. It got me a few more mph and a killer roar to it.

Re: Riva Racing Kits

how have the Rivas parts held up? Do you ride the bike hard as I am afraid that bolt-on parts might not wear as well as I would like. I had a 2003 xlt 1200 and put some bolt-on mods on that machine and had problems. I am just unfamiliar with Rivas quality and they seem to be one of the only companies that has mods for the '09 sho motor. maybe you have some better resources to find parts? thanks for your help!

How bad a** does your machine sound now? its real "throaty" once you remove the factory air filter etc. right?

It's real throaty from the Riva free flow and I also removed the rear rubber curtains. The combination of the stacks, filter and exaust mods made my ski the greatest sounding ski in my hood ! lol

Re: Riva Racing Kits

well I guess I am going to have to jump on the bandwagon with you and your performance parts....I gotta be the greatest sounding machine in my hood...AND the fastest. I live in Buffalo and the Niagara River is our riding grounds...so I want the roar of my machine to overpower the roar of the falls! haha!

how much top end power did you gain? my buddy has the speed record on my machine (he weighs about 25 pounds less than i do) and my GPS recorded him at 69.9 MPH going down-river. I would like to get her to 75+ if I can....but that might require a bigger intercooler etc. we will see!

Re: Riva Racing Kits

I think im in the low 60's it's not a real fast machine but I did pick up a few mph from the mods.
