New FX HO

I pulled the trigger today on a 2006 Yamaha FX HO with 75 hours and an ezloader trailer for $5400. I am picking it up next week. This is my first pwc, and I can't wait to take it out.

Pics to come!

That's a good buy. You will enjoy your HO.

Re: New FX HO

I'm envious... Yesterday I looked at a 2006 FX HO, 85 hrs. They want 6900, no trailer, so you seem to have a very good buy.

David C, I don't know how far you are willing to travel but there are a ton of great pwc's in North Carolina. Check out http://www.crazedlist.org/. You can search many craigslist locations at the same time. I did see a few nice pwc's in NC using that website. Good Luck.

Re: New FX HO

timber,
I have been checking craigslist, primarily Charlotte area, almost daily for a few weeks. And cruising dealers for "newish" holdovers, etc. Want a new 2009 FX HO, but really can't justify buying two of these to replace the two Raiders I have. One at a time can happen if I buy almost new instead. Hope to test a couple this weekend if weather cooperates.

Thanks

Edit: Several of those craigslist models are not near as nice as the ads make them sound! Tha is why I am moving slow.

Thanks Bulldog, The deal fell through. I noticed the seat and gauge pod didn't match. dealer (consignment) was selling an 04 model advertised as an 06. When I called him out on it he could not reduce the price.
