How tight should VX110 filter be ??

Greetings from Ireland !
I just changed the oil and oil filter on my 06 VX 110 Sport, talk
about hard !!!! It was like it was welded on, got it off in the end
with a rachet strap and elbow power !!. Now that I have the new
filter on, how tight should it be,I have it on hand tight at the
moment if I leave it as is will it work itself loose etc, any
suggestions would be great, thanks in advance .......

Did the Screwdriver trick too, that made it worse and managed to bend the screwdriver in half !!!! like i said the rachet strap and elbow power got it off in the end. Im in Courtown. The waves are getting good now down here for jumping with the bad weather coming in, any good spots down your way ?? Where in Waterford are you ?
