HO vs. SHO

I have an 09 FZS and a 2000 1200. Looking to upgrade the 1200 for my wife. Anybody got some real world performance on the HO and SHO? I'm getting a great deal on a 09 HO so I'm leaning that way.

Re: HO vs. SHO

SHO will accelerate a lot faster but is only a couple of MPH faster on top.

Re: HO vs. SHO

and will get worse gas mileage, but you have an FZS so your probably not worried about it, the sho will keep up a little bit better, but either should be a great upgrade!

good luck!

Re: HO vs. SHO

If you need a great ski with couple miles faster and a little faster acceleration then go with the SHO and also you get the worse gas mileage and the problems with the supercharger ...However if you looking a great ski fast enough , Super good on gas and no problem with Supercharger Then HO is the one

Unless wife is a speed freak, stick with the HO.

Didn't meant to say supercharge got problems , however for a couple miles less I rather to keep my HO without Supercharger and less to worry
