Hard to start '05 FXHO

At the end of last season I noticed the FX taking what I thought was to long to fire up. Once it did, it would start right up after the engine was warmed up. Only found two post in the search and they did'nt cover this. Anyone have any ideas about what to check first. WARM WEATHER IS ON IT'S WAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plugs are always the biggest culprit on HOs. Change the plugs and see if that makes a difference. Also check the air filter when you pull it to change the plugs.

The first thing I would do is change the plugs, they don't seem to last too long in skis.

Slightly bump the starter and wait while the fuel pump provides pressure to the system, then start.
New plugs for sure.

D3Aces - i was leaning toward fuel pressure or an injector problem. Thanks for the info. Will try that first and see if it makes a difference.
