Ensure FX HO Cruiser Sticker is Right

I've been looking at alot of yamaha pwc's in the past month. I verbally told a dealer today I would take a used ski from his lot. I noticed that all 06 FX HO Cruisers seem to have the lumbar seat.

The one I am looking at doesn't have it. Was it an option? I just don't want to get hosed.

I may call the dealer, get the vin, and cross reference it with another dealer. To be sure it is a HO cruiser.

Opinions?

I believe that all FX HO cruisers came it. The regular FX HO did not. I mean thats basically how Yamaha has been naming their waverunners. Im sure someone did not like the seat and ended up trading it for a non cruiser seat.

They must have switched the seat. Origionally came with a cruiser seat (2 person)

I'm 99% certain that only cruisers came with the folding rear boarding bar.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong

Cruiser also has the foot chocks, the right side LCD read out (info gauge), which will be blank on a plain FX, pull up cleats, etc.

You can also check the model no

FX1100A-F = FXHO Cruiser

FX1100-F = Std FXHO

Correction... I have a non cruiser. Its had the boarding bar. I only use it to hang clothes and stuff on it.

I noticed in the owner's manual from yamaha.com that the gauges on my machine are not from the 06 model. It looks like it is an 05.

Damn pretty frustrating.

The cancelled the deal today.

I confirmed the Primary ID with the dealer I was going to purchase from (consignment), and another dealer. The unit was being sold as a 06, but it was actually an 04. The seller didn't want to drop the price.

I cancelled the deal, and told the dealer to call me when the price drops.
