2007 VX110 price check

Looking at a 2007 VX110, stock with trailer, 400 hours, very good condition. Says the ride plate leaks a little, needs to be re-siliconed I take it. $2650. Do it? Think about it? or Keep looking?

Sounds like a great price to me. Check to see the condition of the motor, that sounds like a previous rental to me and may be corroded or had body damage that was repaired. Is this the Sport the deluxe or the cruiser?

yeah..also when u go see the ski, you should run a compression check, also check for corrosion in the engine bay, the jet pump, and if you want, grab the motor with both hands, and try to rock the sucker, just to check the motor mounts...

also..ride plate leaks a little? they are not supposed to leak..they are underneath inthe back of the ski..i think he is talking about the intermediate shaft bearing..thats a pita to get to..u need to take the engine out to fix that...

if its got the factory 5 year warranty its transferable and Yamaha will fix the leak for free

EX RENTAL? AWSOME PRICE. OUR 06 RENTAL FLEET HAD 900 HRS STILL RAN GREAT. NOT ALL BUT ON SOME OF THE MOTORS NEEDED A VALVE JOB AT AROUND 700 TO 900 HOURS PISTONS AND RINGS WERE STILL GOOD. AFTER VALVE JOB THE COMPRESSION WENT BACK UP TO 190 195 COMPRESSION. STATOR TEND TO GO OUT BETWEEN 400 TO 600 HOURS. DO THE HAVE ANY MORE VX110s LET ME KNOW. THANKS

Owner says it's not an ex rental...he's 2nd owner. Him and 1st owner must have lived on them during the summer. Still haven't had a chance to go look at it.

i'd be careful something else is up. an 07 for that cheap, that possibly still has the warranty?

id double check everything.

The price is about $650 higher than wholesale for a ski with that many hours. Average hours for a 2007 ski is about 155 or sobut if it's a Florida ski you can add another 75 or so. Hours are extremely high not to be a rental. Does he have maintenance receipts? If so they will show who the owner is; John Q Public or Billy Bob's You Sink 'Em We Dink 'Em Rental Service.
