07 FXHO Is there a major problem

For some personal reasons I did not have a chance to winterize my 07 FXHO. Now its almost time for riding season. What should I do?

You can just warm it up until the oil reaches temp and change the oil. Put some fresh gas in it. As long as it wasn't exposed to freezing temps for a long time you will be ok. Mine stays in an above freezing garage and I don't do anything besides put fuel stabilizer in the gas.

Was the storage unit heated? What was the low temps during winter? You can check the web site to see the lows. I know it can get cold in KY and this winter was kinda wild with temps and snow.

I would hook up the wash out and run it with the hose on to see it you start pushing water anywhere. Also do not run it too long and check to see if you get any water into the oil crank case. I would do this before I consider taking it for a ride on the water.

If no leaks and no water in the crank case I would still do as Paul metioned.

Just IMHO.... and a FYI.

The unit not heated and the you right, the temps this year kind of wild. I believed none of the day are below 15 degree but I will do what you suggest.
