What to buy 09 stx or Ultra 260lx or 260?

which ski would be better and more reliable 09 stx, ultra 260lx or 260x?
i know 260's have the blower but how reliable are they vs regular stx?
is top end speed more or less than the stx vs 260?

Original poster needs to figure out what type of riding he wants to do, and where he is doing it. No one pwc does it all well !

Each of the three mentioned are great pwc's ! But, do different things/conditions well.

The 15F does at least one thing well, in small surf......

Yes the 15F does well in small surf like 20 ft !!!! Also suggest that this person does try to get a test ride, And you are right. Two diferrent rides as the 250 loves open ocean and has great hook up in rough conditions in stock form. With less then 500$ in mods you will have a 70mph ski. Is that you Puck in the vid? SWEET!!

Yeah, that be me. Have a lot of stills, but this is one of few videos, was taken on Saturday.

Need to make do here with 3 footers. Was teaching a 260Ultra guy that day thou ! Quick learner, he went from, "this will never get air", to having a blast.

First mod I suggest is drilling hole in SC hose from airbox to lube SC. Just a small hole to fit straw of lube can into. Saves you alot of headaches in the future. Congrats on your new purchase, you won't be let down.
