Oil Filters, Pure1 NO

Short post, as on PDA

But, over on Kawasakimotorcycle site, Pure1 has stated do not use their filter on MC.

As the Kawi 4 stokes are , MC engines, I would think this might apply.

Reasoning is restrictive flow of filter.

Add that the Kawi oil pump was beefed up.....

When I get on a real compter next week, will cut and paste links.

My earlier comment about oil pump being beefed up refers to the mod applied to the base engine plant. This was done as part of / or as a result of, addding the "charger" to the engine for the 250. The beefed up pump is on all the 4 stroke kawi pwc's now.

I'm not offering technical info on that change. Just referencing what I learned from another post/thread here on pwctoday. Kawiski might be able to add more on that than I can.

BTW, my Kawi 900 MC uses the same filter as my 15F. So the cross reference chart on that thread might add to the info available on alternative filters. As to me, I'm sticking with my Walmart SuperTech 6607.
