Glue for seal repair

Hey guys, the box where the fire extinguisher is located has a rubber seal around it on my stx 12 f. Mine has come off and I tried to repair it with same hydro turf mat glue. This did not work, what does Kawisaki use at the factory to get this seal to stay. It is black and somewhat elastic. I wanted to get this ring glued back on and not have to mess with it.Let me know if anyone has suggestions. Thanks ER
