06 STX-15F (dies at full throttle)

I have a 06 STX-15F with 35hrs on it and when you are at full throttle sometimes it just turns off and dies. It fires right back up with no problem and runs fine except at full throttle. I would say it happens 1 out of 5 times... Im thinking maybe fuel pump is going since its at full throttle... Please help me! Thanks

So i put in a new fuel pump and it still dies... So I rode it some more and it dies when it comes out of the water on a wave or going fast... I am thinking it is the rev limiter becasue it doesnt have the pressure of the water... anyone have this trouble or know how to fix it????

Fuel pump is either working or not working at all on all the STX skis whether DI or 4-stroke - NOTHING in between.

I would check the ignition coil bracket area for wire shorting, chaffing caused by rubbing against the metal bracket. Either shorted ignition wire or down-sensor wire would cause exactly what you are describing. Rev-limiter in ECU limits the rpm to protect the engine against oever-revving, it does not kill the igntion.
