Hey Lil D, I've heard so many good things about Camp Far West. How similar, better or different is it to Salt Springs?

Camp Far West --that place is great for buoys, little traffic, beach access, camp by the water, no patrol or very little, huge lake and clean water

Bigger than SSVR and the water is a bit cleaner as well. There is also a TON of beach area, and it's all easy launching.

I have no experience on these lakes whatsoever. I am game wherever you guys want to go. Maybe Berryessa......but I will leave it to the majority to decide.....I am sheep!....Baaaaaaa.....LOL!

How would Camp Far West be for bringing a few boats and having enough room away from other boaters/jetskiers to jump wake? I know it's great for bouys and racing, but what about wake jumping?

Lots of room for boatwake jumping and traffic is mostly clear. It's only muddy by the shore with alot of traffic in and out. But, then again which shore isn't muddy with lots of traffic. Lake Commanche is nice also. No experience on the other lakes.

I'm lobbying for Lake Sonoma, take a look at Lake Sonoma....
And then there is Camp Mud hole.....
Camp Far West is actually closer to me, and I'll meet you all out there if thats what everyone decides....just thought you guys should see what you might be missing out on.
