PLANNING BIG PISMO TRIP!!!!! July? August? Input needed!

Okay, we've talked a lot about going to Pismo, but it's time to put a plan in action. Let's go down for a weekend. We first have to start with a date. What weekend would be best?

I'd say no sooner that the middle of July to make sure everyone can plan for it ahead of time. Well also need to figure out lodging and food. And I'll take a look at the DJSA calendar to see when they are racing.

Let's carefully pick a date, way ahead in advance and not to conflict with DJSA, so that most people can attend. If you have never been in the surf THIS IS your chance to experience what is all about....If you have never been to salt water with your ski before, don't worry we got you covered. We'll show you how to take care of your boat inside and out...beginners Welcome!
We have 2 options, Camp at the beach or crash at "El cheapo" Motel 6. Camping could be out of the question as everything might be booked already but the rooms at Motel 6 are $70 a night with 2 double beds and hot water so it's not a bad deal.
This is to be discussed further down, we need to nail a date.
Any Ideas? July 24, 25 and 26?

This is the DJSA schedule:

JULY
July 11 – Salt Springs Junior Match Slalom drag quals / series heats 1 & 2
July 12 – Salt Springs Junior Match Slalom drag finals / series heats 3

AUGUST
Aug 1 - Suisun (night race)
Aug 15 - Salt Springs (Jet Effect day 1)
Aug 16 - Salt Springs (Jet Effect day 2) > double pts
Aug 29 - Suisun (night race)

The only two hard commitments I have so far are DJSA races and July 29th.

Karty I told you I have $$$$$ in hand for the X2, and $$$$$ in hand for my truck, I'm just waiting to find a good truck at a decent price with decent miles on it. Every Toyota Tacoma extended cab on Craigslist is way over-priced. I'm ready for the truck
just don't want to make a rash buy I want to take my time and find a good one. Oh and I'm ready for the X2 as well..... I've already started looking for parts
