well its getting late in the year and some are getting ready to put their toys away for the year. I think its time to do another group ride before the year is over..

Location- McDonald Island (The CamoJoe Estate)

Date- October 17th 2009

Time- Riders meeting at 9:00, mandatory if you are going to participate. 1st ride of the day is at 9:30.

please respond to the thread if you are going to come, I am making accomidations for parking, skis, and cook space.
all skis will be walked down the ramp to the dock on one of the beach carts that will be there. this is another on of those B.Y.O.F. things, we will also have the option of having the island chef make us burritos if thats what some want?? 4 burritos for $4.00 and thats delivered..

I am confirming some "wake machines" to have some fun with too.

this is a great place to do something like this. I hope everyone can come to help make the last ride of the year the biggest.

Attached is a google earth picture of McDonald Island where the ride will be starting from. To get here there are several ways to travel. From Stockton you would take the Hi way 4 west/Charter Way exit and head west. Go about 5 miles and make a right onto inland drive and stay on inland for another 5 miles until you see the bridge. (If you hit Tiki Lagoon you have gone a little too far). Once over the bridge the security guard will tell you where to go but just so you know all you have to do is make a right onto the levee road and stay on it. The Clavius Club is our own rivate club that is located on the north side of the island and is on the levee. So if you are driving on the levee you CANNOT miss it. If you are traveling from the bay area you can go north on tracy blvd until hi way 4. Make a right onto hi way 4 and once you get to the small town of holt you can make a left and there will be signs to McDonald Island. If you need to gps the location I would gps Tiki Lagoon because we do not have a physical address that will take you here. If you look on the attached map you will see to points of interest. The first p.o.i. is Zuckerman Bridge which is directly next to tiki lagoon and the secnond p.o.i. is the Clavius Club itself. Hope all can make it because this is a great spot for this group as we are located directly on the water and we are by a lot of fun sloughs and cuts.............Hope to see you there...

there is plenty of grill space....

just aside about the food. You can bring a lunch or meat for the bar b que or there is a cook on the island that makes really good burritos. Its 4 dollars for 4 burritos but I will need a count to give him so that he can deliver the right amount....so if anyone wants a "camp" lunch let me know as well.............

I'M IN!!!! Can't wait! I've been wanting to hit the Deep Water Channel all summer!!!! I've only been out there on sitdowns. Can't wait to hit the BIG wakes on my superjet!!!

Nice riding with you yesterday. You pulled one Bad *** Sub on that SN of yours.....
This place is closer to the Deep water channel? Sorry not too familiar with the Delta.
I will be working on my SN today to see what the HELL is wrong with it.

Ok I am IN!
I just MIGHT have my "WAKE MACHINE" on the water too! I may have to dump it in at Ladd's and drive over to the spot. The MRS. will NOT be able to go since they have a football game on that day. If AUGIE is going to bring his boat I wont have to bring mine.
