Currently reinforcing my RN:

I made it a point NOT to ride until this project is finished.
It has been too long and I really want a boat with more power and that can handle the abuse.
I still need to reinforced the nose and under pole area plus I want to touch up the bottom hull, nothing serious but the usual beaching scratches. I might as well do it since I have the engine out.....I also removed the screws on my tubbies and will be glassing all around them.

ETA = Thanksgiving, I will be ready then. (I ride all year long)

hey Benny, how much weight have you added by doing 2 layers of glass on both sides?? just wondering, this is in my future as well

its not much! rick if your racing it put the tubbies on an glass them on than do the same as benny on the inside!

I filled the Bond line on both sides and applied 2 layers of glass on each side as well.....it is like a tank, super solid now. Yes I added some weight to it but I am upgrading the stock 701 engine with a B-Pipe and a high compression Head so that will compensate for it.
If I was to guess I would say 5 pounds so far but I am just talking out of my arse.....I did not keep track.....sorry.

Are you going to do your 760 RN?
