the green light comes on an i can get it loaded to the advent.....whats up with the timing??? do i have to set that also in the "timing correction"? | you will have to do a tdc constant caibration test with zero on the tdc constant window. i think only seadoo engines have to go thru this. as miller said: once you split the cases , the engine never goes back exactly the same way each time .you will need a timing tape from greg adjusted to correct size with your printing program. greg will need your exact size of your couplers for this timing tape. so youll prob need a digital caliper. call greg with that size. Then you can do all this tdc constant test. stuff..my tape was 73 percent of the size that his printer sent me to get 5 inch timing tape to tape to your coupler and with a timing light. you will perform the 2 timing tests with .prj and .t4 files loaded to your t-4 . you'll do one test with the t-4 loaded with the normal .t4 file ,then check with a timing light , write down that timing mark, then go back to your pc load a invert .t4 file and do another timing light test. once that is done and you give greg the results of the two tests. he will adjust your tdc window with a figure. then you can perform the final program for your t-4. so you,ll have to call him tomorrow and get this tape first thing. do u have vista or xp?????
