On a side note, I had a great time out there with Anthony, however, at times it felt a bit dangerous with all the boats, standups and sit downs in one small area. I could see how it could be a bad area, you just gotta be super defensive. Even sometimes that wont save ya.

YEP, remember when I said I saw the helicopter? you HAVE to be very aware of what's going on. who'd in front of you, who's behind you, who'd coming, how fast are they going, how will the rough water react to all the boats, who's a moron, who doesn't know what they are doing . . . .

I know this is some people's favorite spot but I really don't like it. There is just way too much traffic on the sloughs at all times. I mean YES you have to be careful, YES you have to watch your surroundings at all times but I had to grow eyes on my back when I rode there last time.....LOL!
I don't know but I don't like to be on my toes at all times. I mean is nice to go someplace, look around and not having to see a boat near you for some distance so you can "relax" for a few minutes and just enjoy riding.
Anyways this is BAD, real BAD for the PWC community. I hope the guy is OK. Anyone knows more about it?

Which is why I think us Norcal guys should schedule some group surf trips...all the waves you could ever ask for without getting run over by drunken returnees from ski beach....

Hey Ryan, chances are we saw that sitdown or standup. the accident occured at 3:26. that was like the half way point of us being out there. i've been trying to think of what sitdown or standup that i saw come through but not return.

And Ryan, it was not the other guy on the superjet. I saw him later on right before I left. I'm so glad I saw him because I would be wondering if he were the guy. Especially after some of the risky riding he was doing. AND because he and I talked a bunch of times and I had ample opportunity to tell him to ride safer.

I am down....I love Pismo. Which brings up a great point.
Why not have a second crew get together down in Pismo?
We could all team up, drive in a caravan and stay there for the weekend.

That sounds great . . . UNTIL SOMEONE GETS BIT OR EATEN BY A SHARK!!!!!
Say what you want about Indian Slough, but at least I can see a boats and pwcs coming and I can get out of the way. A shark I may never see coming . . . . LOL . . .
