I say we keep an update for Lake Michigan conditions as well. I'm willing to call in sick to work if I see 5-8 footers up there!

how warm does the water need to be to go riding without a wet suit?

About 65 degrees to be comfortable. A little cold getting in, but not bad after a few minutes.

Nothing really new. Water temp is steady, but will be rising quickly over the next few days. Lake level is normal, and everything is a okay. I'll be out there Wednesday, and will call if I see anything abnormal. I won't ride until Thursday as I have no way to get the ski in and out of the truck by myself.

Oh you can get it out! Floor it in reverse and then hit the brakes! LOL! Getting it back it the truck might involve getting your truck interior a little soggy though! HAHA!

Guess it'll be alright as I have to set up camp etc. I sure hope the bears and cougars don't get me.

Cougars aren't that bad! I don't mind the occasional cougar! LOL!
