| In regards to "ruining" the Memorial Day Ride "The inmature drunken behavior last night did not only upset myself, but I had complaints from several other members and guests. The general concensus was those offending members should be removed from all future events. Inmature posts etc, regarding this issue will be locked and or deleted at my discretion."
Ok. Lets go through this.. On a serious note..
Drunken behavior happens when you get a bunch of good friends together and alot of alcohol.. Ever heard of hazing? It's CLEAN FUN. I would maybe have been annoyed too if it happened to me, but I would have gotten over it REAL FAST, and had a good rest of the weekend.. NOTHING happened that was out of line.. Only you thought it was the most terrible thing that could ever happen to you. and Lisa, I heard, (from Tyler) she yelled at him and Waldo as the were walking by to leave.. Nice.
If you had complaints from SEVERAL other members and guests, like you say you did.. I call total bull sh!t, unless you can tell us everything that was said and by who... I hope you realise that we're all not in high school anymore and you don't have to keep secrets.. If anyone has a problem with what went down.. SPEAK UP. We can talk about it and resolve the issues..
I want to know who all was involved in the "general concensus" that "those offending members should be removed from all future events." Because from my perspective, nobody that was there would think that we were so terrible that this should happen..
THIS IS NOT an inmature post in my opinion, and would like to hear some comments in return from you and other people.. We're sorry Dave if it really offended you that much.
We really didn't think you'd lose it like you did and desert your friends and the people YOU invited from far as hell away. not a very professional move in my opinion. and reeming Kip and I a new one was uncalled for and you owe us an apology I think.
Anyone have any comments? Please Leave them..

| Re: In regards to "ruining" the Memorial Day Ride In my opinion things got somewhat out of hand when someone's property got harmed even though not intentional. In my exp. with good friends and alcohol things can get carried away. Good friends don't usually talk smack about someone else they are "good friends" with just because they obey the law and try to be respectful. I had fun and I enjoyed meeting everyone on the trip , but I was bothered to hear that people in the campground were complaining about us. They associate most PWC riders in a bad way as it is. We need to set a better example and change the public's view about us. Example....don't throw beer bottles in the woods at the campsite. I don't know all of you that well but I would hope you can all work it out eventually. I have not laughed as hard as I did this past weekend in a long time and I thank you all for that. There were good times that came before the bad remember that.

What in the holy HECK happened you guys?
I disagree....."hazing" is NOT "good, clean fun".
It's immature. It's kids stuff.
(but I wasn't there, so I'll STFU now...)

| Re: In regards to "ruining" the Memorial Day Ride First off, reaming Kip was in order, and then you wanted to jump in and say "**** You it was funny!" I didn't have a problem with you Erik until you pulled that. I know Kip was the ring leader in the whole situation. And you know what, he actually apologized like a man. As far as Kip and I, I really don't know at this point in time. As you can see, your post is already backfiring on you. I had complaints from everyone, Mikey, Bob, Josh, Jason, Erwin, and Amy. As far as leaving, being this was the second night you guys messed with the tent my girlfriend and myself were both done dealing with it.
I discussed staying with Mikey and went up to talk to Lisa about staying. That is when she informed me about the $500 she had to borrow to buy food, clothes, and the like for the event. she was very upset at this, and that is when I went to talk to Kip. Then you had to jump in. To top it all off I have a torn zipper, and a hole in my brand new tent from trying to cut the zip ties. This is the thanks I get after sharing a tent with you and feeding you the first few nights? I think you should really rethink your postition. I deleted the first thread to give you a chance to rethink your statements, but if you want it this way so be it. |

Sounds like the kind of immature, drunk, asshole behavior I wouldn't want anywhere near me.
Just my opinion. Since you asked. |

| Re: In regards to "ruining" the Memorial Day Ride I don't think It was anyone's intentions to "ruin" someones tent, or weekend. I was involved, and actually felt very bad after. I guess at the drunkin moment I didnt think it would cause any harm. I am sorry for upsetting you. I do understand you put a lot of time and effort into planning, and I think everyone is thankful across the board. I Think this is why Waldo and myself camped in party cove. We know, we get a little crazy at times and that was the right place for us. Keep in mind this is a lot of people from all different areas, with all different backrounds, and all different ideas of fun. Not everyone knows every one, yet. You had people as young as 23 and as old as 40+.
throw alcohol in the mix,Things are going to get crazy. Dave, thank you for the burger, and the organization of the event, and I am sorry.

Lisa wasn't yelling at you guys that night when you left. She thought it was another raid on the tent. Outside of that night I had a pretty good time. |
