Rain rain go away!

Weather sux, but at least I am getting some time to finish my new motor. I've got all of my parts except for my bilge and cooling and fuel lines. The lines and my new girdle head is in the mail. Got a few more small hardware store parts to buy for the dual cooling set up, but I'm pretty much done. I also have to finish rebuilding and painting one more carb. I am OVER this project and ready to get this beast in my SJ! Still keeping my fingers crossed to have it completed and tuned by Memorial Day. With all of this rain, the river levels should be nice and high! Enough wrenching! LET'S RIDE!

Dual cooling? You really don't need that here until maybe late summer. I know some guys say the motor doesn't get hot enough if you do that in cold water. FYI

Re: Rain rain go away!

The head requires it. I could split the lines, but I'd rather be on the safe side. The water injection is stealing a little water too. I just want to make sure I don't toast the new motor.
