Need advice Indiana Guys/Gals

Help me out here.....Since my vacation got rained on(every freeking day) and we came home early, The wife got no chance to ride her new (to her) toy
I`ll be honest I have been in the water in this state 2 times in my life, I have property in Canada so my water time has always been up there, I`m not used to having to deal with people nor how things are around here.
I am going borrow a friends ski so I don`t have to deal with a boat too and take her to either Monroe or Racoon this week so she can get some seat time and get used to that ill handling money pit.

Any suggestions ?
Is either place better than the other?
The least amount of underwater obstacles would be a plus..I have to deal with that up north and I know that lake

Thanks
Rick

both are nice reservoirs. Monroe is bigger. I would just go to which ever you are closest to.

DNR can kind of be a pain on Raccoon, so make sure you don't splash each other with the skis, or ride too close to the shore. Either one of them is instant ticket if DNR is out. That being said Raccoon is nice to ride during the week because it is light on the boat traffic. Weekend is a different story. On weekends, Monroe is the spot.

Re: Need advice Indiana Guys/Gals

Thanks guys
Dave...Well that solves one problem, The borrowed ski hasn`t been reg`d since 07 and while I know better down here, I was tossing around the idea of risking it because I hate to pay for registration and use it one day...so much for that..I guess i`ll pay up

Wife has a grand total of about 2 hours in her life on a ski..TRUST ME...no stupid stuff, she needs to get used to everything, That is also the reason I`m borrowing a ski and not sending her out by herself..and I sure as He** am not going to attempt 2 riders on a 93 XP...I don`t mind gettin` wet but I have limits..I hate borrowing but it is way too much of a PIA to haul my boat and deal with it too..Besides He is a good friend and he knows I know how to work on the damn things (already had to fix it just to get running)
Probably will be racoon..I`m just south of Lebanon so it is closer.

On a side note...I`ve been out of this game for alot of years due to a back injury....good god that GTI i`m borrowing is freeking HUGE!

Thanks
Rick

Racoon it was ....had a great time and my build for the wife performed flawlessly..Yea I "bucked up" and registered the borrowed one..Probably a good thing, DNR came by just as we were leaving.
