July 4th extravaganza at Pine Lake

Ok so today i was at Pine Lake in Laporte and all my friends from the forum were there! Which amounts to NONE! Im home now because its going to be 70 and raining tomorrow on the 4th. Seems everyone is full of crap and cannot commit although there were some cool people that invited me to come ride with them.

Now its gorgeous out and im stuck going to a bday party. Last night i watched the fireworks over here in downtown chicago they were 15 mins long and they sucked.

Sorry I couldn't make it. I was with the little womans folks all weekend. I haven't done any riding since the 701 checked out. I doubt I'll be on the water at all until next year.

Dude....ya should have driven 30 and came and rode with us! We had a blast....and still rode even though it was a little cold...and rainy. We rode on Sunday which was really nice 80F and water temp of 77

Whats the hold up slim....just fix the 650 and put it back in the water in the SJ. ??

No possible splice for now?

I tried it. I almost sank it in the river! The splice got blown apart, flooded the hull with water, and the motor barely ran. Thankfully I was only a few yards from the dock when it happened. I was able to feather the throttle enough to where I could walk it in to the ramp.
