Greetings from Corn Country

Hey there everyone.
I'm new to this site (a couple weeks) and I recently came across IPWOA.
It seems pretty much everyone here is based around Indianapolis.
I reside a couple hours north on the Tippecanoe River near Lake Maxinkuckee.
Last season I acquired my first pwc. A 1984 JS440, the hull was in horrible shape, and I had to rebuild the carb, it had sat in storage for about ten years. Soon after I found an '86 JS550 minus the engine and exhaust on ebay and picked it up in Lake Station. Picked up a single PWC trailer. Then I found a good deal on a Karavan double pwc trailer. This season I wanted some more go-go so I picked up an '82 JS550. Swapped the engine to my '86 hull, rebuilt the carb, removed the rev limiter. hoisted it in to the test bay, tuned it in, took it for a cruise and I was rather disappointed. It wasn't much different than my 440. So I got the notion that maybe I could sell or trade two small skis and wind up with a Kaw 750 or a Super Jet. So I dropped the 440 engine in the other night and got a bit of tuning left, but I got two skis and I'm looking to upgrade. If anyone is interested or knows someone who might be let me know. FYI I'm on a budget. Hell who isn't? But fortunately I work at a marina so I get really good deals on most everything.
