I needed to take some time away from my ski, or else it would of been at the bottom of the White River with numerous holes in the hule from a .45! I've got a nice workshop now where I'll be able to spend some time on my skis and go over them good without being rushed. I don't want another repeat of this past season. I spent a LOT of money on my ski last winter to only have it go up in smoke. I rushed it and made mistakes. I needed a break from it before I lost my temper and also my love of riding in the process. Oh...and trust me...as a mod in here...I don't really have that much control over what goes on in here. I can edit and add stickys and thats about it. If there is any info that you guys want to post, email me and I will sticky it. But without posting it...there is nothing to sticky! I haven't seen much posting in here, so don't pin that on me. Don't rely on me to make this chapter work. It takes effort from everyone. Dave left because there was too much finger pointing and not enough action going on. He was losing his love for our sport because of the actions...or lack there of...from other people. He has a lot of love for this sport and only wanted a good sucessful chapter to arise from the ground up. He spent a lot of time and money on getting this group started. This club started withough a president...and has never really had one. Dave never really wanted the job, but did it because he loved riding so much. If you want it to thrive, take it upon yourself to make it happen. We're all friends in here. I'm getting sick of seeing the "rib-poking" that is going on. What you call "just kidding around" isn't always taken as that. People in this forum love to ride. When they can't, there is usually a better reason than"I just don't give a damn".
Mike....Sorry I haven't got back to you. Everytime I got one of your messages, I've been busy and I have forgotten to call you back. My bad and I apologize. Been some other things going on too. Give me a call sometime and I'll fill you in. |
