Usually on the Missouri river around Bismarck/Mandan. We go to the Sorties, but we are planning a few rides around the state this year. If we venture in your direction, we will let you know! How's the weather where you're at?

Alright! I plan on hitting up okoboji in Iowa a bunch this summer. You guys might be interested in venturing down there. I will scope it out first and let you know if its worth it. Went there once last summer but it was SUPER windy so there wasen't much action going on. But holy smokes there is some huge boats. So on a normal weekend maybe we can launch off there wakes. Might be alot of women too... I plan on going back alot if the weathers decent.

We haven't got much snow here. The clouds come over us and we get a few snow flurries and lots of wind. Its hardley worth ditch riding right now.

Re: Hey Ladies!

Zulu, where in SW MN are you? We spend most of our time around the DL area, with about 8500 of MN's 10000 lakes to choose from within an hour of us. Hopefully we'll be able to get a ride together in the Fargo area with both the ND guys and the MN guys.

Sounds like you guys are way up north. I'm assuming DL is Duluth. I'm down by Marshall.

DL is Detroit Lakes area. Detroit Lakes has a busy public beach, but the water seems to always be infested with something.
There are about 5000 lakes within 30 minutes of DL, and a lot of them are pretty fun.

I also have a good buddy who has place on the lake in Watertown.

When we were in DL, we stayed at a "resort" if you could call it that. Anyways, it wasn't on detroit lake. It was a smaller lake just south of it. The water was awesome! It was so clear that you could see down to the bottom in most areas. It was a blast to ride because you could cruise along and see the fish and the "terrain" below! Not to mention, it was a very active lake. Lots of boats, jet skis, and even seaplanes! I would be game for going there again, though I would probably camp as the cabins we stayed in were like 1200 bucks for a weekend stay
