Besides, why would you go from a Square to a 550? The square nose rides so much better then a 550. | Its all relative. I went from a squarenose to a 550... only days I regret it are the days when I dont actually Want to exert myself to ride. I feel the 550 is overall less predictable than the SN hull, but overall I usually have more fun, though my ride time has been cut in half due to exhaustion of wrestling the ski. The bonus is its still a good 10lbs lighter than most aftermarket hulls after you do reinforcements. Mine is at 82, and I have a LOT of extra glass work on it. Quote:

But fx1s are not cheap, and not easy to find. (and they are a good 30 lbs heavier) But if you do get an fx1 all you will have to do is the relatively easy 140mm pump swap. Unless you really have your eye on the gold, doing a pump swap in a 550 is a bit more difficult, expensive, and very time consuming.
