Re: whats a better hull

550 hull is lighter, more nimble, and better in almost every way than the 650 hull.

Re: whats a better hull

I ride a 91 650 sx for freestyle/wave jumping and I like it.The 550 just seemed too unstable and the tray too narrow for me.I have a 750 big pin motor with a coffman pipe and msd total loss ignition and I have plenty of power for wave jumping.I also have a 750 sxi and the 650 is alot better for tricks IMO

the 650 is more stable. I always thought the 550's were more fun.

Re: whats a better hull

I've always felt much more comfortable on the 650. Like they said above the 550 tray it too narrow and the hull feels more unstable

Re: whats a better hull

widen the 550 tray, and put a 750 in it and maybe a 650 pump?

Or just buy a 750SX... and get out on the water this summer, instead of next summer...
