Need some coaching on a surf backflip.

Before I start trying a flip in the surf. I would like some tips form guys who CAN do one.
I have a 97 SJ with footholds, msd enhancer, ADA 185 psi head, B pipe and 12/17 prop.

I want details like whats to small of a wave? how fast do hit the wave? whats your body position? ect...

I also would like to know how hard it is to do.

Any and all tips would be great.

Thanks

When you get to the base of the wake, pin the throttle, lean back, and hang on.

The flipping does not scare me as much as the landing and my knee buckling.

That's what Joe Kenney always told rookie surf riders. He always said that once you get to the base of the wake, then just pin in and hang on. Worked for him, I guess, lol.

Do a search. Might have better luck finding info from people with actual experience over at x-h20. No doubt everything you need to know has already been gone over extensively.
