Lifter Wedges

Hey Everyone, I am currently rebuilding a 92' square nose super jet for the ground up and was looking into footholds but found that they are just gonna cost too much for this project so I was thinking about some lifter wedges for the tray. I have never had to deal with lifter wedges before and only know that you can glue turf together to make the wedge. Are there any companies that make wedges and any information about the wedges would really help.

Thanks,
Ryan

REV footholds aren't much more than that. I'd save up for footholds.

Re: Lifter Wedges

last summer i wanted footholds but didnt have time to put them in so i bought kite boarding foot strapes. they were like 15 bucks for 2 of them and i bought a tube of epoxy from loctite for less than 5. i drilled 2 holes in the tray and 2 on the siderails. epoxied in the acorn nuts and then screwed my straps in to them. worked very well and straps were very comfortable. i rode every weekend from mid april until sept and they held up all the way.

Re: Lifter Wedges

Keep in mind that footholds are only half the cost, you still need glass, resin, turf, pad and glues.
