Re: kawi side exhaust only?

Only problem is what pipe and water box and room under the hood. The stock water box is such an odd fitting deal. But I love front side ext. That's how all my X2s are and I'm not changing it.

Re: kawi side exhaust only?

I currenlty have a surf boat sx hull with blowsion side and rear running Factory pipe limited wet pipe and their waterbox. I did not notice that big of an increase in noise.

I have a 93 sx hull that I am going to lighten as much as possible early spring by defoaming and taking out the rear exhaust tube. I will not use any water box just an in line silencer. The water box is very restrictive for my motor 850 set up for race gas and Total loss.

How was the removal of the exhaust tube? any pointers would be nice. Do you know how much it weighed?

Get rid of the kawasaki pole bracket that thing is a monster. I am trying to lay up a nose peice similar to the blowsion cover. This will cover up a yamaha or aftermarket style pole bracket.

Re: kawi side exhaust only?

I ripped out my SXR tube and with the loss of that and the thick rubber hose I believe it was 6-7lbs. With that , a 4lbs battery and no extinguisher thats a good weight savings.
