Best Freestyle Flat Water Prop

I had this in aftermarket and performance but didnt get very many helpful hints.
If anyone has a great freestyle ski with an awesome prop let know. Below in my status is my ski with modds also adding a 46mm intake manifold with a mikuni sbn 46.
i pulled my prop off and its a skat trak 8-16. i wanna a big bottom end punch and also being able to cruise and launch my ski also.

any ideas would help. thanks.

I think it's Impros that makes the 'Hooker' prop. I had it on my freestyle ski, and it was a Hooker! I'm not sure if they make it for Kawi though.

Yeah, they dont make a Hooker from Impros for the Kawi, only Yamaha. I have never tried a hooker, but would like too.
I would go with a Skat-trak Swirl on your Kawi. I ike my swirl better than the solos concords ive had in the past.

just give impros a call and tell then what you want. Dave will hook you up with the right prop you want.

Re: Best Freestyle Flat Water Prop

I have a Skat Swirl 13/18 for sale that is a very nice all-around impeller for the SJ. Instant bottom hit, good cruising.
I've had it for three years now and the only reason I am getting rid of it is because of a magnum pump.

I have a 12/17 swirl in a SJ pump thats going into my fx-1. I want a hooker also, but heard good things about the swirls. So I will give it a shot. Id call Dan and talk to him tho, he's the man.

Re: Best Freestyle Flat Water Prop

I have been thinking about maybe doing a prop in my 800sx-r. What pitch is best for getting the most air in flat water. Mostly hitting my own wake and the wake from my buddies ski, but occationally hitting some good size boat wakes.

Re: Best Freestyle Flat Water Prop

12/17 swirl or 9/15 hooker would be good choices . I have heard 12/17s are a little more forgiving as far as set up. I personally ran a 9/15 on a limited boat no porting very nice all a round. will be running a 12/17 on a build shortly.
