2009 Sea-Doo

The big news as everyone knows this year is the new IS for Sea-Doo. More new features then anything ever bulit before. Brakes, reverse ont the handle bars, suspension,retrackable dock lines, dash tilts with bars, external battery access, stepped bottom. Pretty awesome and a little scary at the same time. This new ski has really set the new bar of what is to come in the future. These skis start in neutral and it is really neutral. You just squeze the lever on the left once and you are in forward, squeze and hold and you are in reverse. It will take a little getting used to but after that it is pretty awesome. You can adjust the ride stiffness or let the computer do it for you depending on water conditions and riding style. You can adjust the ride height for your riding style or if you are riding 3 up and want to lower the center of gravity. One concern is the entire rear vent area is open to the engine compartment. It looks like a way for water to get into the engine compartment if you are riding hard or in ruff conditions. They say all the water that comes over the bow between the top and bottom washes right out the rear of the ski.

umm...wow...that has to be by far the ugliest thing seadoo has released yet...

if they are going to produce products like this, please dont bother with the xp, i would prefer for them to stay discontinued and not look like a lay-z-boy sofa if at all possible....that would just be a damn shame...
